You're also able to seek through movies while the Media Server Transcoding is taking place. PS3 Media Server will also support any type of file that would normally be played with VLC Media Player such as high definitation movies downloaded off of the Internet or even live television streams and web radio.
Unfortunately at this time, there doesn't seem to be support for Hulu or Netflix , though alternatives are available. As an added bonus, PS3 Media Server also supports picture-based feeds such as those from Flickr accounts.
